A camp south of Aqaba, pretty expensive solution
for the money. The camp across the road is a bit dearer but has nicer
rooms. Stayed in room, although camping would be possible if not very
comfortable (no shade, rocky ground)
Aqaba, Public Beach #4

Free camping on the beach in an area reserved for "tourists".
Amenities, but no real shade.

A campsite at the entrance to Wadi Rum. Not much
to talk about, a flat area for the tent or 4x4, a couple of tents
which were great for cooking and hanging out.
Petra, Helali Bedouin Camp

Helali
Bedouin Camp Not really a campground as such, but it worked
out great. They have a couple of tents to rent, and it is more reasonable
than the other bedouin camp nearby. Their main business is events
for tourists, so it can get loud, but usually ends early as they
have to move on.
Amman Beach, Dead Sea

A public beach right on the Dead Sea. Pretty expensive
but worth it, if just for the sunset view alone.
Irbid, Hotel El Joude
